Pre-Baptism Classes
Call or e-mail Pastor Justin to schedule you child's baptism and pre-baptism meeting.
Noisy Offering
During the offering time each Sunday, children are encouraged to bring their offering of nickels, dimes and pennies up front and throw them into the watering can.
We are encouraging everyone to use a simple devotional outline at home. It?s a simple way for families, couples & individuals to spend some time talking reading scripture, praying & blessing one another at home. Here are the 5 steps:
SHARE your highs and lows of the day
READ and highlight a verse of scripture in your Bible
TALK about how the Bible verse relates to your highs and lows
PRAY for your highs and lows for your family and for the world
BLESS one another
Youth Bibles
Are available to sponsor. Look for them on the rolling cart in the narthex. They are $15 each, check made payable to Faith Lutheran Church with “Youth Bibles” in the memo line. Dedication/sponsorship labels are on the table to write your own personal message to put into the front cover of the Bible. This idea would make a great Christmas gift as well! The Bibles will stay at the church to be used by all youth programs and adults too! If you wish to sponsor a Bible and no one is present at the cart, leave the check in the offering plate or on the church secretary’s desk and place your dedication inside the Bible using the labels on the cart.
Sunday School
Our Next Rotation will be The Miracles of Jesus: Feeding of the 5000 and Jesus Walks on Water. The other rotations are Jesus and John the Baptist, The Season of Lent and The Parable of the Sower. Come and join us each Sunday morning at 9:05!
Pajama Day
February 19th is the date for the Sunday School Pajama Fun Day and PJ drive. Don't bother getting dressed that morning, just come to Sunday School in your pj's for some games, songs, books and snacks. But don't forget about other children in Minnesota and around the rest of the United States that don't have warm cozy pajamas or books to read at night. Start collecting new pajamas or books for all ages of children to donate to the Minnesota chapter Pajama Program. These are then distributed to children in foster care and shelters here in Minnesota. The Sunday School youth will also be singing at the 10:00 service. Pick up a flyer in the narthex.
Faith offers first communion class for youth 3rd to 5th Grade (based on parent’s choice). First Communion Classes will begin Sunday, March 11th at 9:05. Youth will be commissioned during the 10:00 Service. We will meet the 18th and 25th as well until the youth receive communion on Palm Sunday (April 1st). Toddler Time
The nursery is available during the 10:00 worship service each Sunday (after the children’s sermon) for those wishing to use it. It will be staffed with at least one adult each Sunday. We are also still looking for more people to help staff the nursery each Sunday. There is a sign up sheet on the nursery door – sign up for the dates that work for you! WACKY
Our After School Program on Wednesdays (3rd to 5th Grade) is rolling again. We are drawing a great mix of kids from Faith, other congregations, and those with no church backgrounds. We will be taking a break on Wednesday, February 1st. We will resume on Wednesday, February 8th if we have enough adult volunteers. Come and join us!
Confirmation (6th to 8th Grade)
Confirmation and Wednesday Night Worship will be off Wednesday, February 1st! Enjoy the night away! We resume worship and small groups Wednesday, February 8th. Remember, all youth are responsible for finding a mentor during the season of Lent which begins February 22nd.
High School Group
The High School will meet February 15th and February 29th at 7:15 in Pastor J’s office.
